I'm going to start now with a little pack with a date set for August 30th. We'll be using OA 0.8.8.

The pack will contain only brand-new skins (brand-new as in, created specifically for this pack) because of a theme in common related to these skins.

Who can and wants to contribute to this?

Sounds like a cool idea. Not sure though if there's enough skinners lurking about these forums to make up an entire pack, though.

Maybe you'd get a better response if you were to post the theme, and start off with your own skin.

I might be interested (in fact I signed up with the forums with the intention of making some skins), but it would depend on the theme.  Grin

I'll mention that there's strangely laid-out UVmaps on most models (angelyss's breasts for example are a separately, and strangely mapped island with the seam along the middle) and I haven't really updated the obj files I don't think, and I didn't upload obj files of everyone yet.

I can live with some strange UV-maps, since I use 3d painting a lot. If you could update the SDKs though, that would be most helpful.  Smiley

30/8 is Street Fighter's 25th. anniversary. And I wanted to create some skins as homage to that series.

Wouldn't you rather have a non-fan art theme though? That way the skins could be included with OpenArena itself, if fromhell likes them enough, hehe.  Cheesy

I imported them all in 3ds Max and applied the textures to see if they were correct. Here's a few mistakes I noticed:

- Arachna is missing her jewellery.
- Beret is wearing shorts rather than long pants.
- Kyonshi is missing her right eye.

Well, there are more like that. Angelyss is missing it's cattstuf (as the group in the mesh is called) for the neko version.

That's because the 'catstuf' is removed and moved to a whole new model.  Nekoyss and Nekoyumi are deprecated and unsupported.
