I tried to compile 0.8.8 under OSX Lion, and it error'd out.  I haven't been able to compile 0.8.5+ on OSX either;  some people on this forum seems to have had some success compiling OA, but never post how they went about doing it.

So...can anybody help?

Yes indeed I witnessed the same thing when I crawled the forum. I don't have a Mac so I can't help much. Could you please post your error log? Also, did you try to compile with MinGW for MacOSX, using the cross-compiler?
