Author Topic: No Response from Master Server  (Read 7999 times)

When trying for Multiplayer on Internet, it shows No response from Master server, although the console shows 101 servers parsed which is exactly the same count on http://dpmaster.deathmask.net/?game=openarena .

I don't think it is because their has been no response from Master. If anyone else have had experienced the same problem please suggest how to get this resolved.

I am playing on Ubuntu 12.04. Openarena version 0.8.8

Recently, another user has got "no response from master server" problem... it looked like some firewall problem, but we haven't yet been able to understand completely what's the reason of his problem.

Anyway, he never mention (but we did not ask) the console showing "n" servers parsed.

yes i went through the complete post earlier. Not sure if this is a router, firewall issue.

Have you checked the applied filters? Like "local only"?
They are covered by the console in your screen shot.

The problem got resolved by its own. I think it was some problem from dpmaster. Would check tcp dump next time to see what goes missing.

So how you exactly make server be parsed?
