I'm new to creating maps and I'm trying to figure out how to set up radiant 1.5 to work for open arena. So far, I've only been able to find tutorials for 1.4. Can someone post the process to set this up?

I installed gtkradiant 1.5 today.
The steps i took:
cd to the directory where gtkradiant is installed (here it's /opt/gtkradiant)
cp -r q3.game oa.game
cd oa.game
mv baseq3 baseoa
cd ../games
cp q3.game oa.game
and edit oa.game to fit your enviroment.

That was all IIRC.
You should now be able to select "OpenArena" from the startup menu.

I tried something like that, but I could not select open arena from the menu. I can't find an editable oa.game file. All I have is the oa.game folder.

I don't know how old your post is so I hope this helps out.
There's in the gtkradiant path there is a q3.game/ directory, and a games/ directory.
The q3.game file is in the games directory. So what you want to do is copy your
gtkradiant/games/q3.game and modify that as necessary.

Here is where I found the oa.game folder.

Scroll down to "Installing and configuring GTK Radiant (for windows)" and the link is in Step 2.
