grapple hook q's

Hey guys, playing the 2 new maps (reqkitchen, reqbath) which are awesome.

The 2 questions I have are;
1. How can those hook settings be changed?  I read you can use commands like;
seta hook_speed "1000"
seta hook_speedpull "800"
seta hook_damage "0"

none of those work.  I want to speed up the bull and the speed so any help on that would help.

2. How can you enable the hook on other maps?   I don't design, etc. so not sure how I can 1 enable them and 2 decide where to put them, as well as add other items to existing maps.
