3D Realms is shut down and so now there's no legal entity to contact with on the whole Dave/ling issue. Which sucks. I was hoping for a more logical response from Scott Miller than a "NO YOU CANT" from Siegler.

asking when OA3 will be done won't get OA3 done.
Progress of OA3 currently occurs behind closed doors alone

I do not provide technical support either.

Welcome to Development heaven

3D Realms is shut down and so now there's no legal entity which could sue / prosecute / harass on the Dave/Ling issue.  Which is great!  Now it doesn't matter what Scott Miller thinks or Joe Siegler says.

So you can still contact 3D Realms meaning scott miller or george broussard, you can make a post about it on the 3DR boards, joe siegler can't mod it down, he doesnt work there anymore. Smiley

Since then Gearbox and Take2 own complete control of the Duke Nukem IP, and they're more lax about it. Maybe I can get away with this Dave3D project now without blind hypocritical repercussion about what I can't do with the GPL source code (like...... make content to make the game run from absolute scratch with no stepping on anyone's IP- The MOST LEGAL way possible?)
