- - Does it 'lag' when you play other on-line multiplayer games?
- - Is your hard drive spinning constantly?
- - Can you play single-player mode without any 'lag'?
- - What did you change when it started to 'lag'?
- - Have you overclocked your GPU?
- - Is your computers CPU overclocked?
- - Is it the same problem on every single server?
- - Have you tried re-installing Open Arena?
- - If you traceroute, do you get long routes?
- - Have you applied all the latest network card drivers?
- - Can you ping servers without problems?

Anyway, is just an opinion..
yup, it's an opinion. I see that avatar as a funny implementation due to the fact that the gesture and the text in combination makes me laugh. It does however create some controversy if you read the text 'go away noob' and believe that it is my personal motto, since I am actually helping people with their problems, and don't tell them to go away. |

Hmm, I may be appearing to be joining the argument, but I feel the need to mention this.
The arguments here remind me of how pathetic the people from the forum on pixeljoint were, It would've however, been easily dealt with by saying in a simple, yet polite way - "Please may you refrain from using Capital letters where un-neccasary, as it may annoy others."
Also, RAAM, Have you finally sorted this problem, i wish i could help but i can't.

hey sausage well i figured what was the problem not sure if it was accurate
well when i set the /cl_maxpackets 125,/rate 25000 and /snaps 60 thats wat i think started the prob u see
i set all those things bac to normal and i was able 2 play on a server again....some other servers didnt work ahh well

Ah, that's good to hear that you can play on certain servers, I Personally don't know anything about the CL_Packets, Rate or Snaps Commands...

I think its better to pull up the caps lock key with a flat screwdriver than a hammer. If you use a hammer, you might cause the keyboard to remain in caps lock forever...
Anyways i did that to the power / suspend keys which in some keyboards are in a very inconvenient, easy to hit place...
