./ioq3ded.i386-openarenaffa +set dedicated 2 +set ttycon 0 +set net_ip 72.5.249.2 +set net_port 27960 +set com_hunkmegs 256 +set sv_maxclients 32 +set logfile 3 +set fs_basepath /home/openarenaffa/openarena +set fs_homepath /home/openarenaffa/openarena +set sv_pure 1 +set fs_game NoGhost +set +exec server-ffa.cfg +exec That's what I use for the FFA server. +set dedicated 2 is what makes it Internet vs. LAN.

Are you familiar with routing issues ? is your server behind a router ? I think it shouldn't affect, but also check the IP address on which the socket is open (it appears in the logs when you start the server).

Your server listens to an UDP port, if your router doesn't route packets towards the right computer, then your server isn't visible from the internet. You have to be sure the masterserver can contact you. (Be sure to have a correct masterserver in your server configuration file)

depends on what you mean really. if you mean it disappears from the list after a while, you probably have a dynamic ip from your internet provider. in which case you will have to either ask your provider for a static ip or switch providers.
