I noticed everytime I play Open Arena, my Spy Sweeper finds an adware called Powerstrip. it might be a good idea to find where it's hiding and get rid of it in the next release.

Kaan, are you sure it's not something already on your computer, like an additional search toolbar in Internet Explorer?  (Google says stuff, but be wary of, uh... poor information (you know, stuff like "Y0UR côMPUTêr h45 Beên iNfêc7êd! C1iCK H3r3!").  That website probably doesn't look so good, either...)

(Not related to the Entech PowerStrip we know and love.)

There is no adware in OpenArena. The Windows binaries are compiled through linux, and there is no installer.

Maybe you're confusing it with AlienArena2008 which did have some suspicious ware with it.

asking when OA3 will be done won't get OA3 done.
Progress of OA3 currently occurs behind closed doors alone

I do not provide technical support either.

1- PowerStrip isn't an adware, it's a GPU utility commonly installed with ATI drivers. Thats why it's called everytime you launch a game like OpenArena. You can uninstall it from the windows control panel.
More infos on Softpedia (a software repository specalised in adware-free softwares):
http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/PowerStrip-Download-6833.html

2- OpenArena is a free software (as in beer and free speech) so you can take a look into the sourcecode if you doubt.

3- Take another spyware spotter like SpyBot, because Spy Sweeper is highly unreliable.

There is no suspicious ware in Alien Arena 2008.  There is a very optional google toobar bundled with the installer, that is all.
