Shoot him..

I started work on a new map and I got most of it done, its going to be fairly small and centred around a tower where you jump pad up to and down from.

The question is there is a fair amount of lava which means alot of light. The question is where are the textures that allow me to add in beams of light?

Like so:

See the light beams coming down from the lights? How and where can I find the textures to do that? Smiley

Thanks for your help. Cheesy

Oow and heres a screenshot of the map.

Enjoy!

sfx/beam

The shader for it is in the svn, which you should definitely checkout if you are mapping.  There are also:

sfx/beam_dusty2
sfx/beam_blue
sfx/beam_waterlight2
sfx/beam_red

Err if your talking about my map(the small screenshot at the bottom its in development.

The other map(the big screenshot) is a map from Quake 3 and it was used as an example for a lighting problem. Smiley
