Ok i've posted twice!

I've downloaded the os x PPC binery of 0.6.0 and in the read me it stats that with ioquake3 you have to own OpenArena, problem is I can't find 0.5.1, everytime to I tried to launch it it quits.

since 0.6.0 the base folder is called 'baseoa'.

You might want to upgrade the data to 0.6.0 anyway if you're still using 0.5.1

You don't need 0.5.1 to play Open Arena. In fact, you probably don't want it at all. 0.5.1's much more buggy than 0.6.0, and is missing bots.

I think for PPC you need to get the linux tarballs as well, because the Mac OS X version only comes with the engine, which still needs the data to play.

Yeah, I guess. I think that's what you need to do. I don't use a PPC, but I did read somewhere in this forum that for macs you need to get the linux files instead.

1) download the linux tarball here: http://openarena.ws/rel/060/oa060.tar.gz
2) double-click the resulting file
3) drag ioquake3 in the resulting folder
4) open it and enjoy oa.
