Haven't tested it yet. But from the screenshot it looks very good.
I assume it's not using the original dm6-ish sources? And that it is a complete remake from the ground up?

I used the q3dm6ish .map in SVN. All the textures were changed and lighting was redone. Nothing was changed as far as brushwork or item placement is concerned. I changed the topic title to avoid confusion.
On my monitor the map is bright enough to be played comfortably, but if enough people think it's too dark I could brighten it up a tad.

Great improvement. There are some things AFAIK, I.E. some items floats at some parts of the map and some passages are very small. But since this is a retexturing work, all I had to say is that it's a very nice work. ^^

good work! EDIT: Testing with bots was normal. A bit more brightness couldnt harm. The new textures are looking very sharp.
