Hi all,

Last year i saw a really weird map and i wanna download it but i can't remember the name of it.
I'll describe how it looks, maybe someone knows.

It's a huge map with a city on one side and grass, water on the other side.
There is a train, a huge high pole with an elevator and cable cars...

Someone knows the name of that map???

Sounds a lot like a TargetQuake3 level, try checking maps specifically from the years 2000-2001 as mappers were novelty-driven back then so there's more creative stuff when you go older as there wasn't a "StopHavingFunGuys" point reached yet.

It reminds me of a Quake map I used to play.  It didn't have bot support, but was a really nice map...

I found some similar looking maps on http://lvlworld.com

iirc this map is also on one of our god servers (should be the GoD|Rockets, but if needed, we can upload this map).
unfortunately you need many players for this map - otherwise it is some kind of seek and destroy...

Yes, GoD|Rockets has it (while God|RocketsAS not).

But it seems it is not the same version that is downloaded from the link posted before.
Pillcity.pk3 downloaded from here is 12.568.604 bytes, while the one autodownloaded from that server is 12.628.626 bytes.

A little offtopic, but do you guys know mxl_school.pk3?

Some guy remodeled his school + surroundings and staged a ufo crash in front of the building. Not a super map to play, but great to walk through and admire the work (and find the awesome secrets). More than 66MB!

Be sure to watch the video and see Nosferatu playing at the school cinema  Evil

Very cool map.  It would be neat if it had bot support, but I'm sure a map that size would be hard to put bot support in.

mxl_school's pretty kind of fun to play in Hunt's Save the Universe mode, same with Pill City (I get constant 140fps+ throughout btw)


mxl_school can't have AAS compiled due to MAX_MAPFILE_PLANES exceeded. Someone else should have better luck as I used a May 2001 BSPC

I get a lot of warnings and an "ERROR: Tried parent" with a freshly built bspc. Tried single threaded and multi threaded, breadth first and depth first, with and without optimizing... Any ideas?

Hey, i found this old thread on a internet search and tried to build a .aas for mxl_school:

theres only the .aas in the pk3 file. it works and i can add bots but they dont play quite well.  Smiley
